Andre Dzierzynski

Andre Dzierzynski and T'ang Haywen shared a deep artistic and personal bond. They met in the early 1970s in Goa, India, where they were part of a vibrant bohemian artistic circle. Dzierzynski's abstract style resonated with T'ang's exploration of traditional Chinese ink techniques and modern abstraction.

In 1972, Dzierzynski, T'ang, and filmmaker Tom Tam collaborated on Furen Boogie, a psychedelic short film that captured the creative energy of their time in Goa. Their friendship extended beyond this collaboration, as they continued to support and inspire each other's artistic journeys.

In 1974, Dzierzynski and T'ang appeared together in a group exhibition at the Ellingham Mill Art Society in Suffolk, UK, titled Exhibition of Paintings and Sculpture 1974. This exhibition also featured the renowned British sculptor Elisabeth Frink, highlighting the interconnectedness of their artistic community.
