Dominique Ponnau

Dominique Ponnau’s connection to T’ang Haywen is rooted in his deep appreciation for T’ang’s unique artistic vision. Ponnau wrote numerous articles about T’ang, which appeared in various publications, including:

- The exhibition catalogue for T’ang encre de chine at the Musée de Chambéry and Musée Savoisien in 1979.

- The exhibition catalogue Soixante-dix lavis acryliques et aquarelles for exhibitions at the Musée des Beaux-Arts de Quimper and Musée du Château Vitré in 1983.

- The monograph for T’ang’s retrospective show Le Tao de la Peinture at the Taipei Fine Arts Museum in 1997.

Ponnau also palyed a key role in organizing exhibitions of T’ang’s work, including a retrospective at the Guimet Museum in Paris. His writings and curatorial efforts helped bring T’ang’s fusion of traditional Chinese ink techniques and modern abstraction to a wider audience, solidifying his legacy as a pioneering figure in cross-cultural art.
